| Notes: | The Series three and all
subsequent models were nick named the slim
style. This is because compared to the S1, & 2, the Lambretta
became slimmer and sleeker. The slim style covers all models, Li, TV,
SX and GP. The Li special gained the looks from the TV family of models, but retained the 125 and 150 engine size options from the Li, but with more power. The 125 Special is sometimes known or called an SX 125. Technically this is not an SX125 as the frame numbers are always 125Li, and there is no X badge on the scooter, but as this ran along with the 150 and 200 SX models, some people do call them SX125. The 125 version had painted handle bar alloy housings. The 150 version had polished alloy handle bar housings. The 125 special version had a Special badge on the leg shields, a larger style Lambretta badge, and a big 125 badge. Originally the 125 was not imported into the UK. The 150 was available in a few different editions (Silver or Golden). The special was called the Pacemaker in the UK, whilst you could also buy Silver or Golden specials. |
