1960 Lambretta LI 150 Series II

‘Olympic Service’ Model No. 26
1960 Olympics Rome Italy

** Updated September 20, 2006 **

Innocenti supplied 80 Lambretta scooters, 20 Lambros, and 2 helicopters for the 1960 Olympic games held in Rome Italy.  The machines where used by the athletes, officials, and press.  There are now only 3 bikes known left in existence – one of which you see before you ( this being number 26 ).

The bike has recently been stripped down 100% to clean it up and then give it a complete ‘conserved restoration’.

The above numbers (front leg shield and side panels) where painted on via stencil and
brush, the brush strokes are still visable.

The side panels (shown above) where also painted via stencil and by brush.

The side panels (above & below), at one time the bike bore the Olympic Ring symbols via colored
water transfer.
Now long since gone, by the outline of the water transfer and rings still remain.
